WS1098: Giberish on the screen

So I'm having this issue with my 1098 which I just installed. It is second hand but I ensured that firmware and DSP is up to date.

Every now and then the scanner will just show gibberish on the screen and flash backlight.

It only happens on certain talkgroups, but I can't pinpoint on 100% on which ones. All my database is from the software, nothing was entered by hand. I think it only happens on talkgroups over TGID 20000+. They don't seem to appear in the software even though I selected them to be imported into the database.

Replace SD Card and load files from EZScan.
Verify firmware and DSP are up to date
If that doesn't correct call Whistler support

I'll try a new one but right now I am using a factory new one since the previous owners one wouldn't even boot up.

Take the card and attempt to repair it with Windows error checker, if it fixes it use ezscan prepare card function, if windows can't fix i, replace the card with a SANDISK 8gb CLASS 4 card form amazon for under $7 shipped with prime. Buy 2 card
s and program both then you will have a spare,
