10m Beacon K5TLL being heard in NJ

Kind of early for a 10m opening but I hear K5TLL 28.298 mHz, coming in 509 RST from EM51GG with some QSB. Not hearing other beacons yet. Might be a good day for HF I hope.

I've been told by a few friends in Chicago that 6M has been showing signs of life, too....

I was wondering if the MUF was going up, perhaps that is what's happening.

It's probably just the beginning of Sporadic E season. It happens every year.

We've also seen some dramatic temperature fluctuations; I've occasionally seen propagation affected by that...
