It appears the Utah County Simulcast was in site trunking since 2:30PM. The site has been going between FDMA, mixed (FDMA and TDMA) and TDMA. When it goes full TDMA, only Utah County Law 2 and UHP Utah County are audible. I see the techs' radios keying up but of course they're encrypted so no idea what's going on.
Coincidently, the 800Mhz control channel is now gone, and so are VHF channels (at least on the north end of the county). Other 800 sites are still up with limited traffic, and other 700 sites in the county don't seem to be affected.
As I write this the situation keeps changing - as TDMA traffic gets introduced, FDMA traffic drops or is not audible. When they stop TDMA traffic, all FDMA traffic is audible. If it's TDMA-only, it's audible.
Just posting this here in case anybody else experiences it and starts to tear apart their SDR setup thinking it's an audio issue or hardware issue on their end
EDIT: I removed the blurry SDR Trunk screenshot showing...absolutely nothing of value haha
