Newbie here. Can I program a ATC freq into my BF-B9V2+ via CHIRP?

I.E. 118.500.

The objective to listen to arrivals and departures at my local airport ( Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, California ) via my BF-B9v2+.

No the radio is not capable of receiving in AM mode. You need a scanner.
