Yesterday, we were conducting practice ELT hunting on 121.775 with the Civil Air Patrol, starting out of Lake Elmo. During the exercise, we experienced interference on 121.200.
I believe 121.200 may be used by MSP Approach (Northeast), but I wanted to see if anyone can verify this and confirm the location of that facility. Our DF equipment led us toward downtown Stillwater, where we identified a cell tower and a water tower with antennas.
Is MSP Approach NE 121.200 located in or near Stillwater, or is there another known transmitter in that area that could explain the interference?
