127.215 VHF (FCC) ??????

This frequency of 127.215 is shown in the records as an FCC frequency. The range is in the VHF aviation communications range 118.000 to 136.000.

I entered this frequency and everyday at various times, a generating sound is loud and clear. I'm in Middle/West Tennessee and curious if anyone else is picking anything up on this freq. It almost sounds like the general sounds one hears from a passing satellite. :shock:

Just a though but it could be something to do with the FCC/FAA networks. They have some data frequencies amongst the aviation split.

haha you never know, at one time there was a man's TV I believe in Oregon that was transmitting on the Aircraft national emergency channel which triggered a Emergency Response team to his apartment.
