Does anyone else get an excessive amount of interference on this frequency? At first, I thought it was an issue with the radio in the car, but I also get it with my handheld scanner and my base station at the house. Just a couple of days ago, a Delta pilot flying over my general vicinity said he was getting a hum over the frequency as well.

I'm inclined to think there's just alot of frequency pollution centered around there. I tune one step up or down (25KHz) and whatever noise I was getting just disappears.

I'm near Atlanta, but I've picked up interference on that frequency even when I was 1800 miles away in Las Vegas. I'm just thinking it is general RF pollution.
