13.4880 mhz ???

I was doing a search and came across this frequency 13.480 MHz with audio on it, it was a Amature radio Operator I think, I have this as, 13.4880 USB National Public Health Radio Network - NPHRN /ALE.

The person said he was on CH 9, I'm wondering if this is a Mars Network frequency instead of Health Radio Network, does any one have any information on this frequency.

Participants include Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), possibly US Dept. of Agriculture (USDA), and many state and local public health departments. It is defintely NOT amateur radio. 20 meter ham only starts at 14.000 (cw and data low end).

Not MARS as they do not use channel numbers. A MARS station would identify the frequency by a designator such as ROMEO BRAVO (RB).

Thanks for the replies guys, I think I'll just keep an eye on the frequency and listen in and see what I can figure out. The audio was clear, a Little on the weak side but I just caught the end of the conversation so I did not get any other info.

This network does not have a formal net schedule and is characterized by itinerant operations - as stated in source document I posted.
