Just got home from WORK, as of 6:00 pm Miami Center has 133.200 on. They are simulcasting with 135.600. I swung my corner reflector antenna around and came to the conclusion that the signal is emanating from the RCAG at 25°48'06.350"N 80°20'58.180"W. I did this with the 135.600 on Thursday night and I got the same results. I pointed the antenna towards Bimini / Nassau and the signal died. I'll keep working on it. I did notice that at the 25°38'50.180"N 80°30'19.960W ARSR-4 (TAMIAMI) site there is a RCAG tower. Will have to road trip it. Believe it or not i'm about 30 miles from the main Miami RCAG site and I can receive all the frequencies, some better then others, also at times i can get Tamiami tower + ATIS & Homestead ATIS, most of Miami Tracon and Tower frequencies. Up in West Palm Beach it's the same Story. Check out the Miami Center Bimini Sector feed on LIVE ATC.....thats from me!!
P.S.- just heard on the news that Spirit 758 from FLL to LGA hit a bird today and made a emergency landing, I assume at FLL.

Miami Center just fired up 133.850, also I believe it's coming from the main RCAG site.
135.600, 133.200 and 133.850 all the same controller R-41 sector.

Ok the conditions got much better, 132.450 RCAG is northwest of me about 45 miles away, I'm getting 3 to 4 bars signal strength, the antenna is pointed to the south, southwest. All The frequencies in Miami are coming in LOUD & CLEAR . Just curious if the tropo is working for any one else tonight? It's currently 10:45 PM EST here in south fl. Also a cold front is coming through right now.
P.S....I like pictures too.....it's dark out.....so here you go!

Captkel would you ever consider adding some frequencies to your feed ??? In my opinion your feed would excel if you would throw on 132.2,133.5,124.7,133.85, and 135.6. I believe most if not all have pilot/controller on them. I remember hearing them when I stayed in a hotel opposite of Miami Airport on Red Rd. and another time staying at a hotel on SW 72nd St.

I'm currently sending a feed of the Miami Center high sector- Bimini R-40 126.325 on LIVEATC.NET just thought that since they only do ATC feeds, people would look there if that's what they wanted to hear. At the time I didn't know that there where feeds here too.
SO SOLLEY. Never say never though, I could feed here too, I just got to get the antenna a little higher, would sound better on some of the weaker frequencies. I prefer to just feed individual frequencies not just to scan a bunch on one feed; it's better on your brain if you know what I mean. 135.600 currently doesn't come out of the Miami RCAG. I believe it's somewhere in south Florida, someday we will all know --someone out there knows the answer I'm sure. 133.850 is on know however I can't hear the controller like yesterday...just the aircraft. My guess is it's being transmitted from another location. Here is another picture of my antenna. It's a 2 meter corner reflector that WAS made by Arrow Antenna....the model is CB148, They discontinued it though. I also have an Advanced Communications series MSP mast mounted 108 to 136 Mhz preamp and a Transi-Trap surge protector up there too. It protects that expensive preamp from being damaged by static build-up,(i.e. lightning)......I learned the hard way. Kind of forgot I live in the lightning capital of the USA.

Nice setup. I for one don't mind 5-10 Center frequencies on a single feed. By the way I am Mike. Why dont you PM me with your location. Have you checked out the Miami International Feed here ????? Good listening.

love ur bimini feed at liveatc faithful listener here. i would love if you could stream 133.4 zfplo r21 or 119.82 hobeehi r2 trust me you'll get some great atc from these two. this coming from me a controller that works both. 133.4 is located at freeport and 119.82 at melburne . i dont know much about scanners and radio just wondering that if you could capture this freqs they are way better in atc content than the r40 freq.

maybe

I think when Mike; one of the other guys on here, relocates in Boynton he is going to stream the PBI RCAG frequencies. I could, however my antenna is pointing the other way. If I aim it to the north I can receive 133.4, 125.325, 135.175, 132.15 quite well. When the conditions are GREAT I can hear 119.825 but it's very rare. Yes 133.4 is out of the PBI site!
26°40' 18.13"N 80°10' 52.41"W The R-40 sector can be interesting at times when the weather is bad and with all the foreign aircraft plus it WAS busy with aircraft in and outbound from Haiti. Find out for us where the antenna is for 135.6 R-41. I'm still on a mission to find it. THANKS
KEL :)
