The incident occurred at around 1:56 PM when KenCom received numerous calls of Gray Lincoln MKZ plowed into the Portillo's Hot Dog Restaurant Main Door Entrance. Numerous individuals were inside at the time of the incident when the vehicle drove in. Oswego Fire District arriving at the scene requested mulitple ambulances totaling up to 10. 8 people were transported and 6 people were treated at the scene and released.
Sources reporting a Child was the most severe critically injured and performed life saving efforts. Unfortunately, they were pronounced deceased.
Kendall County Coroner's Office and members of the Crash Reconstruction Team are investigating the incident.
