146.725 Repeater?

Last evening, on a whim, I hooked up the rabbit ear antenna that came with my RTL-SDR V4 to my ICOM 705, and configured it as a horizontal dipole (adjusted each antenna to approx. 19.5”).

I picked up 146.725 and it sounded like a net was running and I heard a reference to Lowell. I believe I was in FM mode but need to check my notes when I get home; nor could I determine the PL tone.

I cannot find any reference to this repeater in the RepeaterBook app except to ones in Australia and I doubt I picked that up as the speakers didn’t have Australian accents.

Any thoughts what this repeater might be?

Correct. Most 2m repeaters coordinated by NESMC NESMC - New England Spectrum Management Council use 15 KHz steps, so 146.725 would be invalid.
