Up on Deer Run, at around 2300 ft, where 145.450 used to be, KF4TNP has now put up 146.880 with a PL tone of 167.9. This repeater is 40 feet up on a tower and running 30 watts. It has a bigger footprint than the 146.910 Sht Mountain repeater. In a couple of months, KF4TNP will have his new tower up, and the repeater will be at 330 ft and 100 watts, and will be smokin'. The repeater currently gets up the Cumberland Plateau easily. As of now, this repeater has roughly a 75-80 mile coverage area. Once the repeater is up, higher, look for over 100+ miles of coverage. Can't wait, but if you are in the middle Tennessee area, try to reach us on there.

That's what I was hearing the other day! I was able to receive the repeater in Huntsville, AL around the West part of the city on HWY 72. Was receiving it between 5x3 to 5x5 while mobile, but probably wouldn't have been able to get back into the repeater.

Hello again! Yes, once Brent gets this up on that 330 ft tower and puts out 100w, that thing will be humming across a huge area.
