PL 110.9 150.155 MHz NY State somewhere in the western part of the state

I checked the following databases for that frequency (150.155 MHz) & nothing came up for: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Ohio & Vermont. It could be unlicensed. Any idea of the type of communications you are monitoring?

Sounded like some public safety stuff, didn't catch any locales though.

If you could just get a location it would be great, does the station ID by morse, voice or not at all? Any possibility of vox recording anything?

That frequency range (148.0 to 150.8 MHz) is federal gov/military.

Probably a Military Base [US] unless you are getting something from O Canada :)

150.1500 P25 is OTIS ANGB on Cape Cod

PL 110.9 150.155 NY State somewhere in the western part of the state.

Anyone know what it is? Can hear it when conditions are good from across Lake Ontario

150.155 is probably coming out of Canada. The 148-151 band is used by several groups, including business, public safety and paging services.

I know that before the BellNet P25 VHF TRS was installed a lot of Ontario Ambulances were in the 149-151 range. It could be what you may be hearing.

I did find a public safety agency using 150.155 - Peterborough County Emergency Services.

I do not believe that this is coming from this side of the pond. With the way the services are sounding, they do not sound like something used over here. I will try to catch some names next time I hear it, but it only comes in, when the conditions are good from NY State.

Peterborough County, Ontario (ON) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference does not list this frequency anywhere on this page.

Where did you come up with that it had been used by Peterbourough County Emergency Services?

All of the EMS In this area are no longer using the VHF Conventional Channels any longer. They are on Fleetnet located here Bell Fleetnet - Ontario Provincial Government Zone 2 Trunking System, Southeast Zone, Ontario - Scanner Frequencies with there mobile repeaters in the UHF range.

I had found it using a search engine checking the TAFL.

neon.polkaroo.net/~darkwing

Then click on Search the TAFL.

Yep, it shows up in TAFL as Township of North Kawartha in Apsley
and elsewhere, and County of Peterborough Emergency Services;
all active licences. That it appears to be on 150.155, not 150.150 is
a sign it's on the Canadian side.

There's a link pair 414.4625/419.4625 associated, but low power
and probably directional.
