This may only interest Utah County people. But I found it quite interesting that some PD is using 151.1375, possibly Springville. Might be jail operations or something. Anyone know? Its been quite active. It is an Interoperability Freq designated as VTAC-11/36. They even say "are you on VTAC?" Struck me as odd with everyone on UCA.

NIFOG has this freq listed as VTAC11. A VHF Mutual Aid Channel/Frequency.

"The National Interoperability Field Operations Guide (N I F O G) is a technical reference for emergency communications planning and for radio technicians responsible for radios that will be used in disaster response."

Yep, but I'm hearing casual PD chatter like a car to car channel. The people talking know each other well enough. Not Interop traffic at all. Talking about drugs, case work, etc. Maybe detectives of some sort.

The way to distinguish is the pl tone , interoperability is only on ctcss or pl tone 156.7, if it’s on any other it’s not anything but chatter
