152.570 WCPE radio from NC !

They have WCPE a classical music station from chapel hill,North Carolina on.

At first I was going to say cable TV leakage, but solid here in Monmouth County also at 0718.
My guess is some kind of STL for a NYC broadcaster.

152.780 & 152.570

I hear both 152.780 & 152.570 (WCPE).

.780 is somewhat weaker and audio is delayed from what is on .570 (bet there is a hop to another site).

I have dismissed this as an STL in the past.

After reading the thread Bill posted it makes sense, they are sitting on the freq's.

This station has been up and running over a year. I have a friend in
broadcasting with NYC station 1010 WINS. He had asked around and no one had any info. I did go on the station website and there internet feed was different then the broadcast audio in this area. Sometimes the signal is just a dead carrier.

I stumbled stumbled onto the WCPE rebroadcast at 152.570 MHz today. I'm tuning in from Manhattan, near Lincoln Center and Central Park though.
