153.13 - San Antonio

I am traveling though San Antonio and I picked something not found on the metro page. The Frequency is 153.13mhz by the Hampton Inn and holidayinn express
I get it on a portable and a diamond RHCC77A antenna.
I just happend to have that in a channel memory from a other area.

The traffic sounds like building amaintenance.
It went quite at 10pm and is active again at 9am.

153.13 isn't a valid frequency. The closest would be 153.125 and 153.1325. Maybe it's bootleggers.

Probably bought some radios off of Amazon. You know, the true communications professionals who can help a customer select the proper equipment that is legal to use, get them licensed, and program them properly for the users...

I had gone to sleep shortly after hearing it. I didn't think of pulling another radio to check the adjacent frequencies.
Thanks for the info. I didn't know that wasn't assignable.

It might be one of those two.
