Just to confirm, this fire frequency has a PL of 186.2? Is there a command 54 or station 54 anywhere in accomack county where this frequency is used? Was there a working fire on monday morning around 930 AM in an area this frequency covers? I believe I was picking up this frequency in southern new jersey on monday morning.

nope they only go up to station 25, 154.055 is not in the county banmd plan

154.0550 is the central accomac fire ops channel 5/6 not sure about the station numbers as I have been hearing station 30 and 25 also

You very well could have been picking "skip" from the north. A lot of time during this time of year it is not uncommon to receive freqs. from distant areas.

thanks for the update - isnt also used by Ocean City simocast of their 800?

I don't see it listed as a simulcast of Ocean City TRS. Nor do I see it listed in Ocean City Nj.

Ocean City MD it was last year form thier old VHF days with the county

Yeah, I think it was skip. Last Monday morning from south jersey I was picking up Wicomico Co, MD, Baltimore, and all of Delaware. In all my research for this frequency only Accomack Co, Va and some place in upstate NY have a 154.055 with a PL of 186.2. So I think it was Accomack. Being it came in a bit scratchy I was probably hearing station 24.

154.055 PL 186.2 was probably Northampton County, PA. I am pretty sure they have a sta 54.
