For the first time this morning (10:00 AM Saturday) I heard the "Arizona Dispatch" put out fire condition reports out on 154.695 (103.5) off of White Tanks. I have lived within spitting distance of the White Tanks for 2 years and this is the first time I heard this.

The freq is listed as a state fire channel but I haven't heard this before, even during last year's Yarnell fire.

Do they broadcast this on a regular basis, seasonal or sporadically?

I hear this frequently on 151.415 which I believe is the Signal Peak transmitter. I'm not sure how frequently they do it, but I have heard many times in the morning around 10:00am.

During wildland fire season the ADFFM (Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management), will give a daily fire weather synopsis for round the state. This helps the crews know what to except should they have to travel around the state, for a fire in a region they are not normally in. The broadcast has happened daily during fire season for many years.
