155.025 IN EMA Net

Heard a faint net happening on this first Wednesday of February. Believe it was originating from Allen County and I am in Miami Co, it was at 10:00 am on the dot pretty much, I heard they were first going to transmit on VHF then on 800, anybody have any more information on this net? Or what channel on the 800 system they use.

It's the State IDHS monthly net. They test 155mhz, and 800mhz. They use the IDHS Disp TG on 800.

I believe the intent is for IDHS to check in with every county EMA office to demonstrate communications capability.

On VHF it is a simplex simulcast system with towers throughout the state.
