welcome to rr.com.... look in each of the county listings, the hospital freqs we have are posted there. A year or so ago there was also a thread in the Kentucky Forum listing the various users of 155.340 (or was it 155.160--sorry, computer crashed and I am running way behind).

Hey Charlie, you were close, it was right at 3 years ago!

I don't think UofL still uses the freq, if they do, dispatch (MetroSafe) no longer knows about it... we used to have the consoles set up to go off when the code was put in, and then we would have UofL come up, but when we moved into the same room and got new 'better' radios we lost the ability... and the ability to listen to the weather channel during storms... and reliable qc2 tones... and attention grabbing weather and evacuation tones... and easy to use manual paging... and, oh, sorry! But that is the story here!

The years have run together since I started receiving AARP mailings!

That puzzles me somewhat.... It's always nice to know what is happening in the next county to the west or so.... kinda like an Attempt-to-Locate being issued for a funnel cloud....

Yeah, I used to be my sup's main weather man... I'd be able to tell by wind speed, direction, and where the western counties were getting hit as to how bad it would be for us, and when. Now we have to rely on those weather people on t.v., and wait for their calls. By then it is too late to really batton down the hatches, it was nice having insight into it.

You have the best equipment that $35 will buy..Quit your griping...lol...

Plus you have 4 tv's with the weather channel on it...

I never understood why they took out the DTN and the "med-com" activation.

But oh well...not my area of concern any longer...
