Been on the air continuously a few days 155.355 186.2. Not seen in DB but some publish as CennCom East.

Moderate signal here in north central Jersey. Thoughts besides fry an egg?

If its a public safety radio it could well be 100 percent duty cycle end up until the power bill comes in for a fan running 24/7. Somebody maybe aught to make a phone call or two

Every base station/repeater I've ever seen that is rated for a 100% duty cycle also has at least one fan spinning 24/7. A GTR 8000 base station/repeater has two fans for the transceiver/PA modules that both spin continuously, plus a separate fan for the power supply module. The cost to spin fans is pennies compared to the draw of a dead keyed 50-100 watt PA.

As I recall some older Motorola Micor base stations had issues where they would key up on their own. We had one on 155.400 killing us at REMCS a long time ago. I disable our West Orange receive site and that helped a little. I sometimes thought that that site was "too good."
