Just curious does any Texas agencies use the old intercity communications anymore ?

Heavily in use in South Central / South Texas - it is a common interop with rural agencies.

They are not paired together any longer. As of 1/1/13 they are supposed to be:
TXCALL1D 154.950 PL 156.7 NFM
TXCALL2D 155.370 PL 156.7 NFM

Any agency that still refers to them as "Intercity" is about 10 years behind times.
