Coming back from Lentini, my scanner stopped on 155.370, which is NY's MRD channel. Lots of police activity...somewhere in the Waterbury/Hartford corridor. I can also hear it from work at PCSO. Any ideas who it is?

Many users on that frequency from my location. What was the PL / DPL?
Probably Middletown PD. They put out a are VERY strong signal.

I didn;t have the scanner on PL search, unfortunately, but that sounds about right. Thanks much!

I would put my money on Middletown PD and not a dept in Missouri LOL

Middletown PD runs a PL of 114.8. Although, I can say when traveling on the higway in the southington area, and around tilcon, I have picked up something on that freq, that is definetly NOT 083 PD.

155.37 is an old (but still used) nationally recongized law enforcement coordnation channel. CT (and New England for the most part) never really used them in the past.

Outside of NE, you will see that 155.475 (NLEEF), 155.37, 154.265, 155.715, 155.34 are still used quite a bit..in all three services.

I agree it is almost certainly Middletown, they put out a fairly powerful signal.
My other hits on 155.3700 include Belchertown, MA PD (179.9); Warren RI, PD (167.9 not sure if they are now on the RI TRS); Westport MA PD (203.5); unknown on DCS 423 and an unknown on PL 110.9 (probably NY, they like that PL)
