as the title states-anyone know of this frequency?

I was traveling thru and stopped at the gas station there at the winnemuca exit going east bound I80. I sat there for about an hour(right next to the Mcdonalds) taking a break when my CloseCall went off on my 330T. Heard a couple of transmits where the dispatcher and units were communicating like any other law enfocement agency, with dispatcher referencing all her units to David(i.e. David 31, David 15, David 22). I heard license and reg checks as well as warrant info and 2 "disturbance" calls. Never heard anything to "clue" or reference who the dispatcher was. No "loose" talk-all professional.
I was going to submit this to the database but i couldnt tell you who it may have been. Heard similar traffic again on the way back Westbound I80 at the same gas station the next night.

again the frequency is 155.595 in FM with a PL Tone of 141.3
Confirmed on 3 different radios - 330T,BCT15, and a 996T- all CloseCall.

Winnemuca PD?

Did it seem like it was simplex?

That freq is licensed to the City of Winnemucca, Attn: Police Department as WQDV691.

it seemed simplex as i was getting both sides of the conversations, but again, they were all CloseCall hits sitting at that gas station.

where did you find the license info? i cant seem to locate that in our database for Humboldt County, NV.

From the FCC.

http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchLicense.jsp

In this case, I clicked on Advanced License Search and picked the State and then entered the frequency under Exact Frequency and hit Search.

After the results come up, click on the call sign you are interested in and then you can use the tabs at the top of the results to see Frequencies, Locations, etc.

From that license, it looks like the City is simplex (at least on that frequency) because it's the only freq on the license.
