Closest two are Ashland County Sheriff or Kettering PD.

its a fire channel because they set the tones out on it. a housefire the other day they responded to on that freq. licking co fd units multi-aid is what was toned along with a small town in licking county fire dept.

I heard it the other day, although what I heard was Hamilton Township fire in Franklin County. Hamilton Township is dispatched by Franklin County Sheriff.

I don't see anything in Franklin county on that frequency on RadioReference. I tried the FCC GenMen, but I can't figure out how to work it.

I'd be interested to know what this is. 'Cause now we got 2 people that heard somethin' wierd.

That's got to be it. I hadn't thought of that.

National Trails fire department must be the ones. Odd thing is that I live in Union County. Quite a haul for that signal!
