I'm listening to 155.805 here in Marion County and I here a base station talking to a very weak, choppy signal station that I can't make it very well. The name of the base station on 155.805 is Star base. Any one know which SAR or County it belongs to?

I'm guessing you're really hearing the words "SAR Base" - not Star Base.
No he is saying Starbase, but maybe he means SAR base or the way he says it sounds that way. Apparently they are working out in Silver Falls State Park I was finally able to get a solid copy from a unit at Hwy 214 & Silver Ridge Road.

There's a few people I know who speak SAR base as Starbase. Starbase does sound cooler though!
