Hi All

Anybody in Lincoln County know who uses this frequency and PL tone; 157.5600 C225.7
I think it's an logging truck operator as he said he was up pipe creek area somewhere stuck in the snow.
Checked the FCC site and nothing for lincoln county that uses that frequency. I hear the guys all the time, more than one person using it.

157.5500

157.5500 is a marine channel.

157.5600 is a valid Business [Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional (IG)] allocation per the FCC

Sorry, but you are wrong. 157.5500 is not a marine channel. The closest marine frequency is 157.4250 which is channel 88A.

157.5500 is Ch.31, in the UK - and the OP posted a UK Link
There are many other VHF Marine channels besides the US approved plan
and the radios do travel and get used even tho illegally in the US

157.560 is a lot of times paired with 152.300 in the older taxi service. 157 being the mobiles...With the pooling it has become a catch all...could have a license could not....a lot of online radio companies sell and cant spell FCC.....friend of mine years ago put a 152/157 pair on a tower and lo and behold theres a school bus outfit on it.....he helped them do the right thing.....keep your ears open might slip and tell ya whom they are....
