I'm in Ontario, Canada on the North side of Lake Erie and I'm picking up this frequency. It sounds like police but I'm unable to find any matching frequency & PL tone in the RR database. Anyone in Northern PA able to pick up this frequency?

I'm not seeing anything relevant in the FCC search for PA. Perhaps it's this licensee in NY? Have you picked up any addresses or locations?, Do they run license plate info, if so what state is most commonly heard? This is good info to listen for when trying to figure out law enforcement freqs

Thanks for the info. I'm not ruling out NY. The signal strength is on the weak side and seem to have low volume so it's hard to make out the conversations.

I just put it into one of my scanners, Ill let you know if it picks up anything.

158.83500 Chautauqua Buses / Chautauqua Transportation. I hear them all the time from our location in NW PA. Trouble is a nearby township road crew also uses that freq without any tone control, and the Chautauqua bus group is weak enough many times that the DCS is ineffective to block unwanted transmissions.
