159.390 N325 Jones Beach?

I am hearing P25 on Jones Beach freq. of 159.390 as well as the usual analog. Are they using P25 also? It is possible it is coming from somewhere else, but a search of RR does not show anyone using a 325 NAC in the country on that freq.

Interesting. I had a p25 hit earlier but very poor decode. Been listening for the last hour and all I am getting is analog 167.9, which is listed as Park Pd. Are you still seeing P25? Can you check again tomorrow?

Yes have had it programmed in the radio for a few years now as an extra P25 entry. It seems like only when a band opening happens I see it come up.

Good Question.. Mostly P25 broken audio...that's why I cannot ID it! Hoping for someone more local to me to verify if it is Jones Beach...If I was able to decipher any of the audio and come to some conclusions, it would be conclusive.

Assuming it is a NYS freq, it also comes back to many other NYS parks thru the state besides Jones Beach. I got nothing other than analog when I was out and about in Western Suffolk and Eastern Nassau. I did not see p25 emissions on any of the NYS Parks licenses but that does not mean much.

I also checked the SNE Wiki, and no 159.3900 P25 reported, unless it is someones input

Wondering tho, if an image from the 162-174 band.
$325 is a Common input NAC for the ole Customs with $301 out

Good point. but definitely not an image. I get it on 3 different radios including a Kenwood TK-5210 and a Motorola APS. Conditions have returned to "normal" in the past 24 hours, and it hasn't been heard here since.

Good to hear, the $325 made me go down that Rabbit hole
