I’ve started receiving a P25 encrypted signal on 159.690, NAC 136 throughout the Sacramento area today.
Since this is not normally a public safety-assigned frequency, I’m going to guess this is El Dorado County Sheriff, and that they’re either testing or planning on going to P25 on their EDSO F2 repeater. They’re the only known public safety user of that frequency locally, and their usual CTCSS tone of 136.5 is suspiciously similar to NAC 136.
