162.475 WXJ47 OUT OF SERVICE ANYONE KNOW WHY?

162.475 in High Hill Ohio is out of service for at least the last week. NWR Transmitter Propagation
Anyone know what the deal is?

They do have maintenance out of service periods, or possible major equipment replacement. One I read about a few months ago was replacing the hand launched weather balloons with an automatic system.

Did you contact NWS Pittsburgh and ask them? I’m sure they would be happy to tell you and would be a lot more reliable than any information you receive here.
