I have seen this before. 2 second key ups, over and over. Been going for 1/2 hour now. Anyone know why this is done?

Also have you tried turning off any other radios/electronics nearby, to see if it ends

No audio. Just key ups. My 436 picks this up at different location so I dont think its anything near me. Also getting this wit a tuned ant as well as on a 700mhz moxon. Also, no ctcss or dcs tone...

Still going on. Can you pick up anything on this freq right now? Just curious..

Will check when I get home, but my first thought is another radio/electronic item causing the interference [heterodyne]
Have you tried it without the antenna connected ?

Without ant I do not get anything. Took the 436 a mile away and with ant it picks it up. I thought maybe a power supply at home so that's when I went away from home.

Good check, that is what I wanted to rule out.
And no WX Priority enabled ??

I have nothing for 163.4500 in the Northeast
Have you tried the adjacent freqs 4375 or 4625 - both known ACoE channels

Nothing from up here in Boston observed last night
Asked a friend down in RI to see what he might hear, and share back

The only other thought is/was an image from 150-154 mhz
especially since you had it away from the QTH

Are you close to any federal facilities (ie. national park service, etc)?

I have a few frequencies in my log in 162-174 MHz that are used for data telemetry.
