Could someone verify that the above frequency recently added to the DB under the Border Patrol is correct? Or should it be 173.6875?

cross reference with the Fcc's ULS ...
use both frequs and narrow you search like state, city
Georaphic location etc...

Border Patrol Freqs

The FCC database does not contain Federal Govt frequencies. Those are coordinated and assigned thru NTIA. So no database search via the FCC will work. The best you can do is look for databases from scanner groups and see if that freq pops up in other areas. They could be using both...
