I always get that NAC confused, I'm thinking department of justice but when I see 4F8 or 4F9 I always think Federal Park Rangers but you listen to them regularly from Fire Island Seashore Park?

Were you hearing one or both sides of the conversation? Could be the input to Fire Island NPS. If you have a free radio, plug that in and 171.625 into your Icom.
