I ran upon this frequency. The guy was told to go to privatized on this net and that was the last Ive heard so far. I guess it is a federal frequency and maybe someone here will know who it may be. Anyone have a clue? Could have come from east Tennessee, southwest Virginia, western North Carolina, possibly southeast Kentucky, and maybe from an aircraft.

I've heard these guys transmit before on that freq with the radio ID Nightwatch. Pretty rare to hear them but when I heard them they were doing some kind of excersie in the clear and encrypted.

I'm getting more and more reports of activity on this frequency in unusual places.

The frequency is allocated to the White House Military Office, and the White House Communications Agency, but clearly could be used by related military units. The usage may not be directly linked to POTUS activities, but more related to the DoD Executive Support operation.

Reports do seem to indicate some possible use by the E-4 and E-6 aircraft...

Maybe they are HT's in use aboard the aircraft by the Secret Service while traveling? For instance, radios to communicate on the aircraft between agents. A 747 is a pretty large aircraft and I'm sure SS protection details might use radios to intercommunicate.

It seems to me like I saw something on tv where there is more than one of the same aircraft when the pres takes off. That way no one knows which ones hes in. I think they break apart and go different directions when they hit altitude.

So far I've only received reports of P25 NAC 001 being used. Sometimes traffic is in the clear, but mostly encrypted.

Pretty sure that is designated as Treasury-15, it is used by CPB/TSA/IRS
