interesting...thought I would share. after the pilot was asked if he could turn back, I heard a VERY loud plane above my house. when I went outside, I didn't see anything but there was a little overcast.

Monitored that traffic too. I heard the plane overhead but, like you, didn't see anything because of the cloud layer. Maybe the first C5 went for a spin around the block. Traffic on the 167th freqs has increased since it arrived several weeks ago.

that's the first I have heard but for the past few days I have been searching the federal bands.
