@0815L listening to 170.450 E (FBI: H5/6); it's been showing both a 67.0 pl & NAC167 - someone not knowing how to use the radio???

Just logged 1 P25 hit, same NAC two bars on my 536HP from Montco despite being on frequency for a half hour. Mentioned something about a lady in a Toyota Sienna. Nothing else heard...

I heard the same traffic. Earlier when I logged the pl67.0; the E was different than when I heard it in P25 mode; sounded like when they were analog with E.

Okay reason I was asking is that my SDS200 radios have been decoding the wrong NAC when monitoring various frequencies.
Checking the same transmissions against DSD - DSD reports the correct NAC. The SDS200 keeps switching between the correct NAC and a obviously bogus (but valid) NAC code.

How strong are said frequencies coming in? Weak signals can at times result in false decodes. Are you running the latest firmware?

Actually on one of the frequencies the signal strength was the same. Yes running latest firmware. Decode was good on DSD and the SDS200 - except it would decode the other NAC off and on.

Almost as if the radio was getting confused. I have only noticed this since the later firmware updates were sent out. Never had the issue before.
