I'm getting what sounds like an EDACS control channel with ESK on 170.7625 MHz. I don't believe it's an image due to the fact that there are no EDACS systems local to me. Showing as "CTL-01" on my scanner's screen. Does anyone know where this is coming from? Thanks.

EDIT: Someone I know around me is also receiving it, so I guess that rules out it being an image.

I'm receiving this right now, again. I guess it's worth noting that the Cecil County, MD EDACS system is coming in a little bit weaker.

Neither of the things you mentioned in your original post rules out the possibility that you are receiving an image.

What is your scanner's IF?

I'm getting this CC again and I've just heard some EDACS beeps on 172.9875 MHz, so I guess that's one of it's voice channels.

It apparently used to be one (I was receiving P25 on it at one point), but now it looks like an EDACS system in the Philadelphia area is using it. The two frequencies I found appear to be CBP/ICE frequencies, so I think this might be a CBP/ICE trunked system.

172.6875 MHz is another voice frequency. I just heard some EDACS beeps and caught a short analog voice transmission.

I'll listen for it tonight between the 170-174 band. I have a 6dB Yagi with 12dB of pre-amp on it aimed towards NYC to see if we can narrow down it's origin.

Wow! Good job finding that. I never thought to search for it on 170.760/765 MHz.
