Had the radio set for signal stalker on older analog scanner and has been stopping on 171.650 sounds like p25 I couldn't find it in the RR database?

Ok thanks no radio is older doesn't have digital decoding... Figured it was maybe something out of the Canaveral Seashore type thing...

I've had a Pro-96 inside my house sitting on that freq for about 8 hours now and have heard what sounded like a P25 digital signal a couple of times but my scanner didn't decode it or indicate digital. It may be an issue with a not so strong signal here beachside in Daytona Beach.

I'll try and remember to carry this radio around when I leave the house and see if getting a stronger signal outside helps.
