171.9750 ($313) active in Grand Haven, MI today, full encryption. Not seeing any matching entries in the DB.

any RID's to add to the equation ?
My notes/logs for
a. $313 = Zero
b. 171.9750 - range from BP, CBP, DoE, FBI, FEMA, Federal Interops, NPS, USSS, USFS, ICE/HSI, VA, local/state allocations (Maine State TRS) and US Navy (USS Constitution)
Nothing - popped up a few times, but didn’t get an RID. Strong signal but brief transmissions.
Possibly Indiana Dunes National Park or Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore? Both are under the NPS.
Those are pretty far from Grand Haven - I was using a 436HP with an RH77CA. Wouldn’t expect it to pull in a signal with that strength.
I just looked at my records and found a note that 171.975 has been reported in use by USCG Ninth District. No date, source or further information noted.
I know that there is a USCG station in Grand Haven. This could account for the strong signal.
Station Grand Haven and the Coast Guard Festival were the focus of my logs (see the Michigan forum). It’s possible, but not likely: 171.9750 isn’t one of the known CG-xxx LMR nets, and every one I did hear was using NAC 293.
