Been scanning a bunch of industrial places here to see if they switched from analog or digital. I did log two CC's on 172.7250. CC 4 with TG 104 and CC 6 with TG 106. Now both of them are around the same strength, RSSI 88 and 72. Some of the same RID's show up on both TG's. So I am thinking this probably is from the same place. Unfortunately I wasn't around my radio when the transmissions happened. There are a few things licensed on that frequency, Walker Aggregates in Burlington or LaFarge NA in Dundas. Anyone have a clue to who this is? LaFarge is licensed at their quarry and Walker is licensed at their waste and recycling drop off.

Safe bet on being the same place or the same company. Notice the pattern CC4 = TG104 and CC6 = TG106. Either that or the same radio shop has provided units to both customers. Kind of a bone head move to use the same frequency in such a close proximity.

167.295MHz for Walker Aggregates in my area but they are DMR with a CC of 1 and a Group of 1.

I put it on at 6:30AM from here just north of Burlington using a single instance of DSD+ and no trunking capability. Just after 7AM somebody said "good morning" to another person and there were 4 transmissions, same radio and T/G each time. I never heard or saw the responding radio, so I may have only heard the base radio and whomever he was speaking to was mobile and out of range for me (simplex) or it's multi-frequency. The odd part was it ran here for 5 hours and that was the only activity, it was absolute radio silence for the entire morning.

2022/03/18 07:04:35 DCC=7 Group call; TG=107 RID=657 2s
2022/03/18 07:04:55 DCC=7 Group call; TG=107 RID=657 5s
2022/03/18 07:05:06 DCC=7 Group call; TG=107 RID=657 4s
2022/03/18 07:07:54 DCC=7 Group call; TG=107 RID=657 2s

Between 6:30 and 7:00 there were a bunch of these logged, all identical:

2022/03/18 06:32:54 DCC=2 ARS; Tgt=65535 Src=528

That data activity also ended at 7:00.

Just logged 2 really brief transmissions on TG102 RID551, shortly thereafter a single transmission on TG104 RID723. And as Gary noted the CCs are paired with the TG ID, CC=2 TG=102 and CC=4 TG=104.

Interesting! Thanks guys, so I am guessing it is safe to assume this is Walker Aggregates in maybe the Falls?
