172.775 control channel

The skip was amazing this morning. Repeaters were tripping all over the place around here. I did a quick search of the Fed band and it hit on what sounded like a P25 control channel on 172.775. By the time I got the PSR800 hooked up and a new system entered to track it the signal was gone.

Any ideas? I'm just South West of the KC area.

Last evening I was hearing the control channel on 173.9125, apparently from Cedar Bluffs.
