Does anyone know who this is? It's all air related talk. I'm not sure where they're locatated, but it's probably somewhere between Maryland and Connecticut.

I found this on a google search of "172.8125":
http://www.monitoringtimes.com/html/Quad.pdf

Once the pdf doc completes downloading do another same search in the doc.
It will bring you down to a Pisgah National Forest North Carolina Forestry freq listing.
Not sure if thats your target or not. I also found this freq on another list and it was
listed as FBI but thats all I could find. Yes - VHF is open tonight. Good luck....

It's from Atlantic City Int'l Airport, it's used for ground control, repeats the airport's aero ground channel.

Wow. I'm amazed I haven't ever heard it before from my location. Is it low power?

This is also a NIFC National Radio Cache Frequency for air to ground on wildland fires, they are currently using it as air to ground on the Elk Complex Fire in California.
