I tried searching this freq. in the "Wiki" for N167 but cannot find it ...but I always have trouble navigating that thing is it there under CT. Federal frequencies N167 ? RID 335? ...thank you, 73,s Marcy

Not 100% guaranteed, Marcy, but my money is N167 = Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the first three digits of the RID being 335 would indicate to me that it is a radio from the New Haven, CT Field Office.

As Bill always says, there are other possibilities, but I'm 99% sure...

This frequency is one of the IWIN frequencies in the Greater DC area may be who your hear. It is used at at more than one location in that area.

and that would be a New report from CT for that Freq/NAC but with the RID - Yup, close enough to say FBI New Haven FO

now where in CT or could it be somewhere closer and (like one of the Massachusetts Island does) is being tripped by a different freq as the input...

Remember, FED Monitoring is like Fight Club some will never be submitted to the RRDB and/or might not be in the Wiki

IWIN tho is an entirely different NAC, last known to be $717 (for site 1-094)

I have noted non-IWIN FBI NAC 167 on many of the IWIN frequencies in the greater DC area. I should have said that (and that the IWIN NAC is indeedd 717).
