Security A: 141.8900
Security B: 148.6650

Security A seems to be the main channel. Does not appear to be linked to a repeater.

These are new, maybe the other 177th freqs are changing too (CE, Medics, Aircraft Maint) which were all up in the 163-165 range.

Charles, step rate for conventional?

The 177th may be changing, but If they are changing frequencies, I'm surprised it isn't to a digital trunked system.

My experience with AF units (20 years active duty) using conventional channels has shown that they may be spread all over the band. I've seen command posts typically in the 148 range, security in the 163 and/or 173 range, fire almost universally 173 range, CE in the 148 and 163 range, maintenance in the 148, 163 and 173 range.

Most have an increment of 12.5 khz.

12.5

Hey I apologize they should be in 12.5 step. but for some reason when I input them into my scanner they change. (Pro-96).

A: 141.8875Mhz
B: 148.6625Mhz

And they wont be seeing a digital system in a very long time. They dont even have a repeater system established..
