2018 FIS Ski World Cup Women's Downhill (giant slalom & slalom) Championship

The Xfinity Killington Cup events begin on Friday, November 23 with the festival village, athlete bib presentation, live music, fireworks and more. The party rolls on through the weekend with Giant Slalom races followed by a DISPATCH concert on Saturday and Slalom races on Sunday. Killington is operational for skiing (for the general public) also as well, as the FIS Ski World Cup is separated behind the K1 lodge. So you will hear regular ski resort radio traffic as well as World Cup radio traffic.

In past years, there was no STA because the frequencies used then, are currently licensed at & around Killington Ski resort (as a permanent FCC license all year-round, etc).

and lastly, World Cup full operations starts tomorrow (Friday 11/23), as athletes start free ski/practice, and all of the security staff start full shifts. Saturday & Sunday are two full days of racing.
