Greene County AR - 5:25 PM, An 18 wheeler apparently came to a hault in front of a southbound UPRR train this afternoon, While the driver sustained minor injuries, The track and road were shut down for approximately 4 hours... The truck stopped on the track and the train was unable to stop, After hitting the train, The train pushed the truck apparently about 200 yards, No diesel was spilled, just oil, The Northeast Greene County/Marmaduke Fire Department, Greene County Rescue Squad, Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Ambulance Personnel, Air Evac Lifeteam, Greene County Sheriff's Department, Paragould Police Department, and Arkansas State Police all assisted in the accident, The highway remained open as traffic flow was slowed down.. The driver was transported ambulance to AMMC, Condition unknown but not believed to be serious as he was stated to be "up and walking around the highway" at the scene. More info as it becomes available, UPRR will be conducting an investigation into the matter..
