Here in Windsor been seeing my scanner stop on 1BMR 09 TGID 144 but no audio. I have a Uniden 396XT. If I don't hear anything could it be encrypted? Not sure why I'm not hearing anything even when it stops on it for lengths of time this morning. I wasn't aware the BMR group is using encryption on any of its TGIDs.
I apologize if this doesn't belong in this post.
Sorry, hearing them fine now, all I did was change the TGID 144 1BMR9 in my scanner from 'digital' to 'all'. Since it said it was digital I set that TGID as digital but since I changed it to all they are coming in now, but maybe it was something they did on their end. Not sure. They've been doing radio checks. My old GREPSR800 would show if what it was hearing was digital or analog but this Uniden doesn't as far as I know.
