I hope everyone took advantage of todays wild ride on upper HF. It all started about 10:00 am EDT and lasted for about 6 hours. Everything from 20 to 6 meters was wide open, I worked 9 states with 11 stations on 6, 6 states and 4 UK stations on 10, a host of US stations on 12 (20 had it's usual contest nonsense), and the pièce de résistance was ZD7FT on 17 meters located on St. Helena Island, South Atlantic Ocean. I am in a parked mobile using a telescopic stainless whip and 100 watts.
I love this stuff
