Ok everyone....
I am planning a January 2005 meeting for all of us radio monitoring buffs here in Central KY! However I need your help in deciding on a date and place for the meeting...the scanner/shortwave listeners group I was a member of in North Carolina would meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at a local restaurant...how would this sound for everyone? That would make it Monday, January 17th 2005.
I also need to know if a good meeting place....anyone have any ideas? My old NC radio group would meet at a local mexican restaurant ....I am trying to make it easy for people to find...somewhere near I75 or some other major road...give me some ideas people!
Any and All radio buffs are welcome: CB/HAM/Scanner/Shortwave/Broadcastband Monitors...if you love radio monitoring of ANY type we want you at the meeting!
1st meeting topic: Radio Show and Tell....try to bring one of your radios from your collection for show and tell....people get to see new radios in person they have only seen online!
